As with other things with your dog, it is always good to get your dog a variety of different toys to determine what he likes best. Some dogs will be happy with a large rope tied up and knotted in different spots while other dogs might be completely bored with rope. Some dog toys hold treats and give your dog a reward for playing with it. These toys are great for giving to your dog before you leave the house. He will be so happy to play with the toy and try to get his treats out that he won't notice that you left and by then he will be tired out anyways. Soft Plush and Stuffed Dog Toys
All dogs love the standard stuffed type toy that they can bite and chew on to their hearts content. Some have special features like squeakers and other noise makers. Some are large and some are small, so choose the type of plush or stuffed dog toy that will fit your dog the best. Don't get a small stuffed animal toy that your big dog can tear apart in minutes. If you have a large dog then you should get a larger and tougher toy to play with. But if you have a small dog you don't want to get a super big toy that won't fit in his mouth. So choose your dogs toys accordingly and it will lead to many playful and happy hours.
